With a commitment to rich storytelling, character development, and collaborative storytelling, COR provides a unique and engaging environment for role players seeking a multifaceted experience.

In the year 40 as the war with the Primalists drew to a close, the destruction wrought by chaining of the elements was hardly something one could ignore. Year after year, Azeroth has been beaten and battered by catastrophic events where heroes swoop in and save the day - But what of the after? Lucienne Willoughby (now Songheart-Bradshaw), always felt that enough wasn’t being done. People were still suffering, people still needed help, yet time and time again their calls for help went unheard or straight ignored for a reason or another. It was their passion, ideals, and drive to help those in need, no matter how small, that ignited the same spark in their husbands: Lord Delmont Bradshaw and Lord Ariandael Songheart.Collectively pooling together all of their resources, the Clandestine of Roses was formed. While finding a foundation in the coffers of nobility and a genuine good heart, the Clandestine of Roses’ has always held its doors open to any of those that want to make a difference - no matter how big or small.COR aims to become a bastion of hope for Azeroth, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation among the people. Not only does COR wish to enhance the security of the region, but help provide innovative, long-lasting solutions to longstanding problems that have plagued Azeroth. By means of trade, medical, magical research, and military strength - COR's commitment to betterment will hopefully serve as an inspiring example, encouraging the spirit of cooperation that would shape the rest of Azeroth.

As well as supporting the efforts of many like-minded individuals who are willing to put themselves on the line for something higher.

It is their dream that formed COR's mission and values, growing into what it is today. The brilliant smile that is heading the Diplomatic branch of COR - Lucienne marries together her social, networking, and problem-solving talents in order to help the people of Azeroth. From hosting social gatherings to working on finding solutions to difficult situations, Lucienne steps forward with the hope of peace and progress.

Military & Archives
Diplomatic
trade
The Military and Archive branch of COR is dedicated to bolstering the strength, protecting the safety, and shepherding the knowledge of victims of the stride of war and calamity. Providing prosperity, and ensuring the survival and re-kindling of hope is a priority among those within these ranks; be it through the preservation of history and analysis of artifact - or by way of being shield and spear. Those in this position are called to action in the hopes of bettering any region they go to and work closely with our other branches in order to ensure the safeguarding of those within and outside of our own ranks.Within COR, we're hoping to provide people with opportunities to exercise their characters passions and strengths for adventure, combat, and overall the interest in having their character interact with the world around in a direct manner. Events beneath this segment are often combat-oriented, but often will embrace the other qualities of the guild and attempt to establish our members as more than vessels for conflict.
Truly the most unique of the three, the Diplomatic branch is a specialized branch within COR that combines the art of diplomacy with social engagement, event management, and much more. This unique branch is responsible for fostering interconnected relations through social gatherings, galas, events, and more. Those interested in the Diplomatic branch play a pivotal role within COR and Azeroth as a whole. By utilizing the talents of those apart of the Diplomatic branch through a balance of various social events: Gatherings, galas, festivals, and more, as well as cultural diplomatic missions and peace-building initiatives - The Diplomatic branch has a lot to offer for those seeking a more greater community oriented experience on top of a Guild one. Working together with the other two branches, members of the Diplomatic branch can expect the best of both worlds: Combat & Non-combat D20 & Social events.
The Trade branch of COR is set to be an engaging environment where seasoned trade veterans or those wanting to expand into the world of deals and sales can prosper. Outside of mercantile dealings, the Trade branch works with other trade masters, houses, and partners to set up and nurture a stable trading network. Here at COR, we're looking for those interested in both merchant roleplay as well as trade networking and establishment. Outside of business and markets, we want to offer specifically tailored events centered around various skillsets of the characters: Bartering, adventure, discovery, problem-solving, and more. The Trade branch will periodically include combat-oriented events, but our primary focus is that of commerce both supply and demand. Like the other two branches, Trade events are intertwined and hope to boost the experience of all COR members.

A beautiful town along the mountainous region of Drustvar, Autumnstead has stood for several centuries dating back to even the early beginnings of Kul Tiran settlers and native dwellers; vestiges of the Old Ways strung proud along banisters and the wreaths that cross from building to building. Its surrounding region was recognized by its lush trees of multi-colored leaves, and a beautiful cut of several intersecting rivers. Within the town you can hear the light bustling of its small town streets and the promise of trade among its market-goers.As a harvest and hunting town, this segment serves to be one of the many breadbaskets of the Admiralty, with a generational practice of farming and trade yielding a flourish of crops potent enough to last through even the harshest of winters. This space was a safe region for most, its denizens ranging from somewhat prickly at their worst to overwhelmingly kind. It’s a space where the people help one another, and it strays far from the promise of any political intrigue or dispute. A haven for those wishing to start anew and be cherished by the community.

Nestled along the southern shores, amidst magically crafted dunes of an enchanted desert lies the diamond of Sae'Henas: Almas'Arshame, renowned across the islands and even Quel'thalas as a pinnacle of entertainment and nocturnal revelry. Towering palms, with verdant fronds swaying in the breeze, and canals shining with rainbows from colored, sparkling glass - This city is a masterpiece of elven architecture captivating visitors from far and wide, drawing them into a world of mesmerizing festivities and magical allure. As the premiere entertainment city of Sae’Henas, Almas’Arshame is a hub of highly competitive trade. Creating near-boundless revenue for both House Songheart and the city denizens themselves, Almas’Arshame seems to be an end goal for many aspiring elven merchants within the islands and even the mainland. From street bazaars where peddlers sell trinkets, fabrics, and spices to fully-fledged restaurants, lounges, brothels, and more - The party never stops in Almas’Arshame, day or night. Those venturing into the city would be wise to keep a hand over their belongings, as pick-pockets and scam artists weave through the crowds. Powerful vassal houses have cut up the different districts of the city, but one stands above all; the illustrious House Embersong, which controls the city’s gambling circuits.

If you are told to stop doing something that makes someone uncomfortable, do not make them repeat themselves. This rule applies to the Discord as well (Voice & Text). We are not the place for your gatekeeping, gossip, personal grudges against a person, guild, or community. Do not air out your dirty laundry in public channels within game or our discord. This includes individuals roleplaying concepts that you may not like or disagree with: They are not hurting you, ignore and move on. Any members that are found to be using toys or emote spamming for the purpose of trolling roleplay will be dealt with.If you are the target of harassment, trolling, etc. please document as much as possible with non-edited screenshots and report it to a Rose/Root (Officer/GM). If you have a prior ill situation with someone that is invited to the guild or discord - Please bring it to our attention. We will do our best to make things a comfortable and positive environment. Do not go on a smear campaign in chats before speaking to a Rose/Root (Officer/GM).We require proof before taking action.
II. Communication
Please follow the hierarchy of guild leadership and follow rules. The leadership team is here to help you to the best of their ability if situations arise. That being said, please heed decisions made by the leadership team. If you have concerns or disagreements with leadership, please bring it up in a respectful and mature manner. If you have a problem with another guild member, we encourage you to resolve it as transparently as possible with one another. If the issue cannot be resolved, please seek out a Rose/Root (Officer/GM) so that we may help resolve the issue.In-character and Out of Character are not the same. You are expected to understand and maintain that boundary. Do not take In-character situations personally only to lash out at your guild members or members of the community. We welcome constructive and engaging discussion in our spaces, if there is something you disagree with - Handle it with thought. Do not simply devolve into arguing and personal attacks. Roses/Roots (Officer/GM) will shut any conversations that go too far down. That being said, we do not allow topics such as: Sexual violence, racism, homophobia, transphobia, pedophilia, abuse, and politics. (Note, this list is subject to change as new things may be added).Despite the temptation of a friendly community, please refrain from 'Trauma-Dumping' on your guild members whether in Guild Chat or Discord. Please keep your real life amongst your friends and personal support system. However, if you find yourself in a situation and need assistance (IE - Gofundme link, Ko-fi/Emergency Art Commissions, etc.) please reach out to a Root(GM) and we can post the link for you. Please remember that the Roots & Roses (GMs and Officers) are people too and running a guild because they wish to share stories and create a community. While we are here to assist you in any way that we can, but we encourage you to make an attempt to solve situations within your control like adults._✾Voice Chat Specific - Please keep outside sounds and noises to a minimum. Sounds like burping, chewing, family discussions in the background aren't typically welcomed as they can be highly overstimulating and gross. You will be asked to mute yourself or put yourself on push to talk. If you continue, you will be muted until the situation has concluded.✾ Voice Chat Specific - The Roleplay community is home to a handful of neurodivergent persons. COR is no exception to this. Please exercise patience with your fellow guild members if they interrupt you accidentally. However, do not purposefully speak over one another in order to dominate conversation / only get your own point across.
III. Appropriate Content
Firstly, please respect the Discord channels and what they are used for. We understand that sometimes topics can jump between channels - But if your guild members are in a voice channel for Roleplay, please do not join and derail with discussion of content, IRL, etc.If you are keen on writing adult content, please keep it out of public channels and our discord. We do not wish to know what you are doing in your free time. If you are found to be engaging in adult content with minors, minor characters, etc. You will be removed and blacklisted from COR and COR spaces.✾ NO MINOR CHARACTERS ✾✾ Writings & Roleplay of sexual violence, racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. will not be tolerated and grounds for instant removal from COR & All COR-Adjacent Spaces ✾
IV. Self Comfort
As a guild, COR will be tackling storylines with darker themes from time to time. If there is something that makes you feel uncomfortable - It is perfectly okay to step away. We also encourage you to politely remove yourself from any situation that makes you uncomfortable, has gotten out of hand, or seems to be done to provoke you. Please step away from the situation, document it, and reach out to a Rose/Root (Officer/GM) if need be.Again, this also applies to Discord and Guild chat. Remember it is your right to request for a conversation topic to stop if it is uncomfortable or against our rules. If a Rose/Root is not online to deal with the situation, please document it and bring it to our attention immediately. Our DMs are always open.

With the understanding that real life will always take priority over anything in-game, we keep in mind that we are adults with real life engagements - College, work, families, etc. We do not want anyone to feel pressured to attend every single possible event as that isn't feasible! Please come to what you like, but still make the effort to be engaged.
I. Attendance & Activity
With main story-events aiming to be a weekly or bi-weekly occurrence, we expect you to be able to make it to at least one of those events. If you cannot make it to the main-story line or interested in other areas of the guild, that is also fine! If after a month has passed without any effort on your part to engage in the guild & community, you will be removed from the guild.Note - Things come up! Please reach out to a Rose/Root(Officer/GM) to be placed on a leave of Absence. This includes just a mental health break! It's okay to still be in-game but not have the energy to roleplay.
II. Effort
If you are expecting to be handed roleplay over to you consistently, this may not be the place for you. Like many guilds and communities, COR has set roleplay days for storylines, events, social, and greater-community events. It is your own responsibility to maintain your roleplay engagement outside of our provided events. You are encouraged to reach out to your guild members and guild friends/associates to maintain story flow!As a guild, this does not only apply to In-Character interaction. If you'd like to do transmog runs, dungeons, PvP, etc. Anyone is welcome toss it into guild or discord that they're looking for others to do things with!
III. Quality
Overall, COR is looking for quality over quantity. We expect our members to have an understanding of basic grammar and punctuation - Stylized writing is more than alright. We also expect you to be knowledgeable of basic World of Warcraft lore and abide by it. Outside sources / concepts are welcomed as long as they're tied into the available lore of World of Warcraft and make sense.
